Rancho Campana High School Ground Breaking

Well, it finally happened! After years, decades really, the official ground breaking for Camarillo’s newest high school took place March 8.  Rancho Campana High School, located behind the Camarillo Library, is scheduled to open for the Fall 2015-2016 school year. At that time only freshmen and sophomores will be admitted. Each subsequent year a grade level will be added until the school has freshmen through seniors. The goal is to have 200 students per grade level with a maximum of 800 students.

Students who live in the following zip code areas may apply for admittance: 93010, 93012 and 93066. The high school’s curriculum will focus on Engineering, Health Sciences, and Arts and Entertainment.

Does Rancho Campana High School sound like a good fit for the student(s) in your life? I for one am very excited about the opportunity, not just for my child, but all the school children in Camarillo.
